A construction workforce platform with facial-recognition site clock-in
Know exactly who is on site — verified by face, located by geofence.
The challenge
Contractors could not reliably prove who was on site, when, and whether each worker had completed mandatory safety training — across multiple jobsites and crews.
What we did
We built the product from scratch — web, REST backend and a React Native mobile app — and run a dedicated squad across frontend, backend, mobile, QA and DevOps.
The AI work
Identity is verified with computer-vision facial recognition at clock-in (face enrolment plus match), combined with geofenced location capture and a bilingual pre-shift safety workflow that generates signed PDF records. We are now building an in-house face-recognition service to replace the third-party API.
Outcome
Crews clock in by face from the mobile app; site managers get real-time, audit-ready attendance and safety records. Live in production and shipped to both app stores.
